Painting, digital photography and video, with a current focus on video installation. The work is made in response to specific sites/contexts, with a commitment to formal, visual considerations (colour, composition, texture) that relate back to a former painting practice and an engagement with textual and visual social/historical research. The work also responds to and reflects on aspects of UK artists' development of Expanded Cinema practice, with an interest in exploring the role of the viewer in the space of projection.
