Claire Lucas has been working in the Arts for Health arena for over 20 years. Her own artwork ranges from representational oil paintings; celebrations of her beloved Cornish coast, to more autobiographical textile and mixed media pieces. Her greatest joy comes from using creative activities to support people to face challenges and make positive changes in their lives, and creating a space in which people of any age or background can unearth their inner artist. The founder and main tutor of Lands End School of Art, she is also exploring, with her students, the magic of creating collaborative artworks.
